Amazing capture! I get the Variegated Fritillary butterfly here in eastern Virginia and I have Maypop Passionvine growing for them.

Yes, we also get Variegated Fritillaries and they utilize the Passionvine together with the Gulf Fritillaries :)

Thank You so much! :) This one was somewhat tricky, because the breeze can always mess up macros in outdoor shots. I got lucky with a still moment, however :)
